The short version, in plain words.

A booking is confirmed when payment is taken and the dates are held for you. Every home has a minimum stay, shown on its page. The person booking must be at least 25 years old and must be staying for the whole visit. The full stay agreement is on every home's page and you agree to it at checkout; after booking you will be asked to provide photo identification and to sign it electronically. Each adult in your party is asked to acknowledge the agreement as well.
For stays booked more than 90 days ahead, half is taken at booking and the balance is charged automatically to the same card 90 days before you arrive. You are told the exact amount and date before you pay anything, and again by email and text before the balance is taken. Stays booked within 90 days of arrival are paid in full at booking.
Cancel more than 90 days before arrival and you get a full refund. Within 90 days of arrival the booking cannot be cancelled and no refund is given.
One exception, in your favor: if you read the stay agreement after booking and do not wish to sign it, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, whatever the dates.
The balance falls due on the same day the cancellation window closes, so you are never charged for a stay you could still have cancelled for free.
We do not cancel or refund reservations for weather. If a mandatory evacuation order covers your dates, we will reschedule your stay to dates that work for you — the booking moves, it is not refunded. There are no refunds inside 90 days of arrival.
A short stay is a license to occupy for the dates booked. It does not create a tenancy. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests booked and never more than the maximum for the home.
Four rules are absolute, and there is no version of a stay in which they are waived: no pets or animals of any kind, no smoking or vaping indoors, no parties or events, and no RVs, campers, tents or camping on the property. Trained service animals are the one exception the law requires; tell us before you book. Any breach of the stay agreement ends the stay immediately and the cost of putting the damage right is charged in full.
We text you about your own booking, and nothing else. You only get texts if you tick the opt-in box on the booking form, and ticking it is never required to book — you can complete a booking without it and still get everything by email.
What we send: confirmation that your booking is made, a reminder to finish check-in, notice before the balance is charged to your card, and confirmation once it is received. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and we never text anyone who has not booked with us.
How often: it varies with your booking, but typically three to five messages per stay. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop: reply STOP to any message and we will send nothing further. To get help: reply HELP, or email info@crown-properties.com. Stopping texts does not cancel your booking or stop your booking emails.
Your mobile number and your opt-in are never shared with or sold to anyone, and are not passed to any third party for their own marketing. See our privacy policy, and how the opt-in works.
Please leave the home as you found it, and tell us promptly if something breaks. Accidents happen and reporting one is never held against you. You are responsible for loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
